Flat fee, signed NDA + SOW. Applies to services **01** and **05**. ### Model B — Project-based build A milestone-driven build engagement with a defined deliverable — an application, an agentic system, or a cloud platform. Fixed milestones, milestone-based billing. Applies to services **02**, **03**, and **04**. ### Model C — Embedded retainer Ongoing senior engineering capacity after a build ships — platform engineering, infrastructure stewardship, or safety governance. Monthly retainer with reserved hours. Applies to services **04** and **05**. --- ## Frequently asked questions ### What is the difference between advisory and build engagements? Advisory engagements (services 01 and 05) are fixed-scope reviews with a written artifact — an architecture audit or an AI safety gap analysis. No code is shipped. Build engagements (services 02, 03, 04) are milestone-driven projects where we design, implement, and deploy the system end-to-end under a Statement of Work. ### Do you sign NDAs and BAAs? Yes. Every engagement starts under a mutual NDA. For healthcare clients or any work touching PHI, we sign a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) before receiving any production data. Wyoming governing law by default; we accept other jurisdictions on case-by-case basis. ### How long does a typical engagement take? Architecture audits and AI safety reviews run 1–3 weeks. Build projects typically ship in 3–6 months with milestone gates every 2–4 weeks. Retainer engagements are month-to-month with a 30-day notice. ### Do you work with startups or only enterprises? Both. Our application-development service is best-fit for founders moving from Seed to Series A. Our infrastructure and AI-safety services are best-fit for mid-market and enterprise teams operating under SOC2 / HIPAA / GDPR. We are an official member of the AWS Startups Program. ### Can you work under SOC2 or HIPAA constraints? Yes — it is the default mode. Every system we ship is built with private-VPC isolation, AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, IAM RBAC, audit logging, and Terraform-managed infrastructure so controls are reproducible and auditable. Our non-training clause keeps client data out of any foundation-model training corpus. ### Where are you based?
